Crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on our free, confidential and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide.
We prepare counselors to navigate a variety of situations that may come up on our crisis services through instruction that explores how to embody our Counselor Values, follow Counselor Principles, and apply Counseling Skills.

The first step to becoming an ally to transgender and nonbinary people is to learn more; thank you for taking that step with us! Our Guide to Being an Ally to Transgender and Nonbinary Young People is an introductory educational resource that covers a wide range of topics and best practices on how to support transgender and nonbinary people. We’re here to help begin your education on the basics of gender identity and expression.
